Collaborating on technology – learnings from the CO2 Capture Project
The CO2 Capture Project was a unique collaborative program that over 22 years brought together major energy companies to advance technologies for the deployment of industrial CCUS. In this conversation, we talk to Tony Espie of BP and Arthur Lee of Chevron, who led the program from 2015 to 2022, about what they have learnt about optimal collaboration around technology development and how they saw the potential of policy evolutions over the lifetime of the project. The discussion will be moderated by Iain Macdonald, who leads OGCI’s CCUS Workstream.
